Yevheniia Yanish¶
Yevheniia Yuriivna Yanish — a Ukrainian zoologist and archaeozoologist, Candidate of Biological Sciences, research fellow at the I. I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), and a leading specialist in archaeoichthyology and the vertebrate fauna of ancient sites.
Overview¶
Yevheniia Yanish is the author of more than 40 scholarly works on the study of osteological materials of fish, birds, and mammals from over 35 archaeological sites ranging from the Neolithic to the late Middle Ages. She is a co-author of the monograph From Bronze to Iron: The Economy of the Inhabitants of the Inkerman Valley (Ot bronzy k zhelezu: khozyaystvo zhiteley Inkermanskoy doliny) (2016).

- Ichthyological research of Uch-Bash: Conducted the determination of taxonomic affiliation and the calculation of size-age groups of bone remains and fish scales from the Uch-Bash settlement (Chapter 4, Section 3).
