A state archival institution of Poltavshchyna that preserves documents on the history of the region, in particular materials on the response to the 1927 Crimea earthquake and the campaign to assist the population of the peninsula.

The State Archive of Poltava Oblast (SAPO) is a regional archive whose holdings preserve documents from the Soviet period, in particular the files of the Poltava District Assistance Committee. Sources from this archive serve as the primary basis for articles on mutual aid between the regions of Ukraine and Crimea in the 1920s.
