The complex of documents (minutes of meetings of the Cheka, GPU, NKVD of Crimea) from inventory No. 6 of fond No. 6 of the Sectoral State Archive of the Security Service of Ukraine (HDA SBU) "Criminal Cases of Rehabilitated Persons" for 1920–1953 is one of the most complete collections of sources on the history of Crimea during the communist totalitarian regime era.

Overview

The article by Anatoliy Khromov in the collection Crimea is Ukraine. Documentary Evidence in the Archives of Ukraine (2019, pp. 169–181) describes the digitization project of protocols of repressive bodies of the communist totalitarian regime of 1917–1991. Inventory No. 6, dedicated to Crimea (1920–1953), contains 106 storage units that remained for a long time at the Main Directorate of the SBU in the ARC and were recalled for storage to the HDA SBU in 2009.
