Lidiya Vynohradova

Lidiya Vynohradova is a Ukrainian archivist, scholar, and head of the group of author-compilers of publications by the State Archive of the Kherson Region on the history of the Crimean War of 1853–1855.

Overview

Lidiya Vynohradova headed the scholarly team of author-compilers (comprising V. Baraniuk, Z. Orlova, O. Shynkarenko), which prepared for publication the thematic document collection "Eastern (Crimean) War of 1853–1855 and the Kherson Region" (Issue 6 of the "Archive Library" series). Thanks to her scholarly and archeographic work, 38 authentic 19th-century documents from the holdings of the State Archive of the Kherson Region were systematized and published, shedding light on the wartime situation, the operation of hospitals, the militia, and donations by the region's inhabitants.
