Andriian Bochkin

Andriian Bochkin was a Soviet hydro-engineering builder, head of the construction administration "Ukrvodbud," and the direct supervisor of the construction of the South Ukrainian Canal, the Kakhovka hydrocomplex, and other hydraulic structures in the south of Ukraine.

As head of the "Ukrvodbud" administration, Andriian Bochkin played a key role in the practical implementation of large-scale Soviet irrigation projects in the southern oblasts of the Ukrainian SSR. He bore responsibility for mobilizing resources, organizing the work of builders under conditions of a personnel shortage, and resolving problems with the material and technical supply of the facilities.
