A Ukrainian historian, archivist, Candidate of Historical Sciences, director of the Central State Archive of Public Associations of Ukraine (TsDAHO of Ukraine), and chairman of the editorial board of the collection "Crimea Is Ukraine. Documentary Evidence in the Archives of Ukraine".

Overview

Oleksandr Bazhan is a specialist in the modern history of Ukraine, the repressive-penal system of the Soviet regime, and the history of the Crimean peninsula.

As director of TsDAHO of Ukraine, he initiated a roundtable discussion on 15 February 2019 and chaired the editorial board of the collected articles based on its materials.
