Crimean Titan (Titanium Product Plant, Armiansk)

The Ukrainian Chemical Products plant (formerly "Crimean Titan") in Armiansk is a titanium product manufacturing enterprise on the Perekop Isthmus that, since its very founding (1960s), maintained a close economic connection with the Kherson region (Khersonshchyna).

The Ukrainian Chemical Products plant (Crimean Titan) is located in the city of Armiansk on the Perekop Isthmus, on the shore of the Syvash. The enterprise was established to overcome the acute shortage of titanium dioxide in the USSR and, from its first years of existence, was connected to the mainland part of Ukraine—in particular through the lands and the railway of Kherson Oblast, which testifies to the close economic ties between the Kherson region and Crimea.
