Branch State Archive of the SSU (GDASBU)

The Branch State Archive of the Security Service of Ukraine (GDASBU) is a specialized archival institution that preserves the documents of the repressive bodies of the communist totalitarian regime of 1917–1991, including Fond (Collection) No. 6 "Criminal Cases of Rehabilitated Persons".

Overview

GDASBU is mentioned in Anatolii Khromov's article as the custodian archive of the protocols of the repressive bodies, access to which is regulated by the Law of Ukraine "On Access to the Archives of the Repressive Bodies of the Communist Totalitarian Regime of 1917–1991." As part of the digitization project, the protocols are arranged into separate inventories according to a territorial (regional) principle and added to Fond No. 6.
