Serhii Horbanenko¶
Serhii Anatoliiovych Horbanenko — a Ukrainian archaeologist, Candidate of Historical Sciences, senior researcher at the Institute of Archaeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), and a leading specialist in paleoethnobotany and the reconstruction of ancient agriculture.
Overview¶
Serhii Horbanenko is the author of fundamental works on the paleoethnobotany of the Bronze Age, early Iron Age, and Middle Ages in Eastern Europe. He is a co-author of the monograph From Bronze to Iron: The Economy of the Inhabitants of the Inkerman Valley (Ot bronzy k zhelezu: khozyaystvo zhiteley Inkermanskoy doliny) (2016).

- Paleoethnobotanical research in the Inkerman Valley: Conducted the attribution and statistical analysis of charred grains and paleobotanical macroremains from the excavations of the Uch-Bash settlement (Chapter 4, Section 1).
